Financial Aid Workshops

Chesapeake CollegePlan is hosting Financial Aid Workshops at each of our High Schools this Fall

There are two steps to get financial aid for college:

1. Create your Student Aid account (also called FSA ID) as soon as possible.


2. Submit your FAFSA as soon as possible after it opens on December 1.

Who should attend?

Class of 2025 students and parents, but all students and parents are welcome.

What is this workshop?

It will address questions about topics such as:

• Sources of Financial Aid
• Cost of Attendance
• Student Aid Index
• Requirements for Financial Aid
• Maryland Grants and Scholarships
• FAFSA

When and Where are the workshops?

Feel free to attend any of the following:

• Wednesday, October 30 at 6 p.m. at Calvert High


• Saturday, November 9 at 9 a.m. at Northern High


• Wednesday, November 13 at 6 p.m. at Huntingtown High


• Wednesday, November 20 at 6 p.m. at Patuxent High
